Photo offer

Many photo or image archives have complicated prise lists, complicated procedures for buying photos, and complex intellectual property right rules. Here, however, it is easy to buy the right to use photos – and the regulation for use is easy as well. Just send an e-mail and wait for the invoice (see below), and you can use unique Himalayan and Everest photos in your marketing or in other ways.

Quality, format and delivery
All photos are delivered in high resolution (300 dpi) and jpg-format. Most photos are 30 cm * 21 cm or 25 cm * 25 cm. They are all scanned with professional equipment.Delivery will be made via e-mail or on CD by physical mail (see below). If many photos I always send them on CD.

Price
All usage rights to photos shown in the High Himalaya photo gallery costs SEK 1000 (Swedish crowns) per photo. If you want the right to use all photos the price is SEK 9000. (December 2006 SEK 1000 was 110 Euro or 147 dollar.)

Licence agreement
• After payment your organisation is permitted to use the photo(s) for such things as advertising, trade-fair posters, products packages, newspaper articles, brochures, books or on the web. On the web it is only permitted to use the photos in 72 dpi and maximum size 30 cm.
• Photo credits must always be included like this: "Photo: Johan Frankelius."
• The permission is only for end-use. That means that it is not permitted to sell the photo(s) further as photos, but of course it is permitted to sell the book or newspaper or other product where the photo is used as a part.
• Information about how the photo(2) will be used should be sent to Johan Frankelius.
• Agreements others than the standard above is possible (special written agreement is needed)

Just do like this:

Write an e-mail to Johan.Frankelius.5675@student.uu.se with the following content:

(1) Description of the photo(s) you want to buy in plain text. Example: I want to buy the photo with the text "Looking north-northeast at the Mount Everest massif from the summit of Ama Dablam on October 24, 2004."

(2) Invoice address: Please include full information and contact person. Don't forget to include country.

(3) Information on how you want the photos delivered (by mail or on CD by physical post). Don't forget to specify full info on delivery address.

(4). Write the following: "I say yes to the licence agreement at www.frankelius.com/johan."

I will send you the photo(s) as soon as possible. The invoice will be sent from Per Frankelius. For further information, don't hesitate to contact Johan Frankelius via johan.frankelius.5675@student.uu.se .
